OOC: And you were telling us that if we were going to post with you we had to have long posts.

Hawkstripe glared at the she-cat. If she allowed him to stay, it would be a long life. But Whitefire's happiness and kit(s) meant too much to him. Especially having an heir. The one thing he knew his kin, Hawkfrost and Tigerstar, would want. "Yeah." He muttered, following the brown leader. He kept his eyes trained on his paws as he walked, not wanting to keep gazing at her cold green eyes. It was almost worse than a burning gaze.

OOC:: Well, I had nothing to work with and I just figured I would say something...
Hawkstar flicked her gaze over to the tom. He was walking with his head low. She allowed him to enter the den before her, her eyes watching his every move. Maybe... Maybe this one is different? Maybe I could trust him? Might as well give it a shot, right? Hawkstar found herself asking. She softened her gaze to what they were after a good night's rest -something she really needed- and padded to the corner of her den. There was moss there just in case she needed it. Pulling away a bundle, the dark tabby created a makeshift nest. Patting it down to make it comfortable, she stepped away and ambled over to her nest, her eyes finally showing how she really felt; exhausted. "It might not be the best, but it's the best thing I can come up with on such short notice," she murmured to Hawkstripe. Laying down in her nest, the leader glanced around with her head on her paws, too tired to fall asleep. Wonder if he noticed the mood change... Hawkstar silently watched him through the corner of her eye. He didn't seem dangerous, but she wanted to be double-sure before she let him in. We start in the morning...

hawkstripe nodded and muttered a soft thank you. He yawned and walked over to the makeshift nest. He walked in a slow circle for a while, making his nest more comfortable, before laying down. He yawned again and closed his eyes. As the orange tabby tried to sleep, thoughts of Whitefire came racing through his mind. He also started to think about his kits. He couldn't wait to have an heir. He hoped either Tigerkit or Hawkkit would fit him. Wondering what the new arrival would look like, Hawkstripe drifted off to sleep.
