Hawkstripe nodded and sniffed. A pungent scent filled his nose, he located the scent right behind him, and whirled around. There sat a creature, somehow the word came to him, though he hadn't scene one himself, it was a frog. He heard from other NightClaner's at Gatherings that they didn't taste bad. So he crouched, and went forward swiftly, he wasn't sure wether or not it would here, see, or sense him first. A tail length away, as it started to turn and hop away, Hawkstripe yowled and leaped, biting into it's neck.
"Ewww!!" He shouted in disgust, wiping his tounge with a paw. "That was disgusting!" He yelled, talking about the frog.
OoC: I know they're are frogs by streams, but he barely hunted at streams. That's why he'd never scene one.

Whitefire laughed as Hawkstripe tried some frog. He had been disgusted by the taste. She had never liked frog, though she had tried it. She had had about the same reaction as Hawkstripe had when she first tried it. "Not to your liking," she asked. "I never did like frog." Then, a thought hit her. She padded over to Hawkstripe, grabbed the frog, and backed away. "I'm an evil frog and I'm going to eat you," she mumbled through a mouthful of frog.

HAwkstripe laughed and crouched down. He growled and said, "no frog's gonna eat me!" He growled playfully and wagged his tail in the air. Then he tackled Whitefire, claws sheathed, and gently bit into her scruff.

Whitefire laughed with Hawkstripe and dropped the frog. She was glad she would still have fun with Hawkstripe. Suddenly pain shot through her. She gasped and rolled away from Hawkstripe. She tried to calm herself down, but it didn't work. Finally, the pain eased and she smiled at Hawkstripe.

Hawkstripe immediatley realized his mate was in pain and licked her ear. "Did I hurt you? Was it your stomach? Oh...you shouldn't be showing me this stuff...You should be laying down..." Hawkstripe had mommentarily forgotten that his mate was pregnant with his kits. His heirs... The cats that would continue the Hawk and Tiger rein.

"No, no. You didn't hurt me. It was just the kits. And I have to show you. Well I don't really have to but I want to be the one to show you how to do things." Whitefire frowned at the thought of not being able to show Hawkstripe how to do things in NightClan, how he would be living for the rest of his life. She looked back at him. "I'm fine now. Don't worry."

Hawkstripe narrowed his ice blue eyes at Whitefire and finally mewed, "fine, but let's hurry and get back." He sniffed the air again and soon scented a mouse, just to his left. Crouching, he used the lightest paw steps he could manage, and sped after the creature. Soon he leaped, landing his right paw squarely on the mouse's neck, digging his claws in. He flipped it in the air, and killed it with a final slash of his paw. The orange tabby tom went to burry it by his rabbit.

Whitefire watched as Hawkstripe caught a mouse. "That should be enough. Lets quickly take it back to camp so we can get some moss." She went over and collected her shrew. She sat down and waited for Hawkstripe.

Hawkstripe nodded and grabbed his rabbit and mouse. He headed back to the amp, his eyes on Whitefire the whole time. He was worried about her. And his kits. He needed those kits... So did hawkfrost and Tigerstar. They were counting on him, he knew it. Evil cats must live on....

Whitefire saw Hawkstripe keep glancing at her. "Stop staring at me! I'm fine!" She sighed. Males are a pain in my rear, she thought to herself. Soon she saw camp come into view. She ran forward, wincing when there were small amounts of pain. She entered camp and went and set her prey down. She waited for Hawkstripe to come and leave his so they could go collect moss.

Hawkstripe sighed and ran to catch up. As he entered the camp, he set his prey of the pile of fresh kill. "Wanna take a break?" He asked, gazing at his mate in concern. Then he remembered his dream. "Wait here! I need to go talk to Hawkstar!" he meowed, racing to her den. Outside of it, he shouted, "Hawkstar! Can I come in? Now?"

Hawkstar had taken a piece of kill and taken it back to her den for eating. After finishing her meal, she had simply begun to space out. When the call of her newest Warrior, Hawkstripe, broke her daze, she jumped to a sitting position and unruffled her pelt to look more normal. "Yes, come in!" she called back to him. He sounded urgent, so she turned herself to face him, but her ears stayed to the side. Something was hanging like poison in the air that the leader didn't like.

Hawkstripe entered slowly and sat down. "Hawkstar... You know Hawkfrost and Tigerstar right?" The tabby tom was pretty sure she had, but not positive. He was worried about telling the dream to Hawkstar, but it needed to be done so they could figure it out.

Hawkstar watched as the tabby tom made his way in. Tigerstar and Hawkfrost. "Yes, I have heard of them," she growled. "Tigerstar had tried to kill off half-Clanners and outsiders, then tried to kill off a Clan using a pack of dogs. Hawkfrost was his power-craving son." She didn't know mush about the two, especially Hawkfrost, but she knew enough to despise them. They had dragged the Hawk and Tiger name through the mud and disgraced the tabby. They were useless, scum.

"Well...I recieved a dream from Hawkfrost..." Hawkstripe started uncertaintly, then continued. "He told me this prophesy:
The battle of the ages, between the good and the bad, in an atttemt to kill the evil, but the god doesn't know, of the warning he had."
Hawkstripe sat nervously, eyeing his new leader in worry. What would she say.
