Beechstar listened as Lunarstar and Nightstar reported. The tabby had noticed that Lunarstar had limped forward. She wondered what had happened. She looked at Hawkstar and saw that she was glaring at Lunarstar. She wondered what was going on. She waited for Hawkstar to step forward and report.
Spottedfire listened carefully as her leader reported. She noticed that Nightstar had chosen her words carefully, so the other Clans wouldn't think they were weak. She's a very wise leader, she thought to herself.

the Moon has set, and the Hawks and Tigers rouse from their peaceful slumber. Finally!
Hawkstar lurched forward, taking her place at the tip of the boulder. Her claws slid out and took hold of the hard stone.
"Cats of every Clan," she began coldly, "I know you all took the notion of my limp. I want to explain that tonight, before everyone, before StarClan. NightClan was attacked by StreamClan." Her pale eyes flicked over her shoulder and found Lunarstar. I'm not playing nice with you anymore, Lunarstar.
"Lunarstar told me that she was ambushing my Clan because we hold Hawk and Tiger blood. She wanted to wipe out my entire Clan!" Leaping from her perch on top of the boulder, the dark tabby began to prowl through the crowd of cats. "Remember the great Tiger and Hawk? I never met them, but I have heard plenty of elders' tales to know that they have been nothing but bad news. Lunarstar seems to be especially offended by their existence."
Hawkstar paused, glaring at the black leader. I'm right, aren't I?"In the dead of night, Lunarstar and her warrior came into my Clan. Lunarstar entered my den; her first flaw. Tight spaces are no trouble for me. She wanted to kill me because my name is Hawk. She wanted to kill Hawkstripe because of his kin. She wanted Whitefire -a queen- dead because she would carry on the legacy."
The dark leader slowly paced towards the Great Rock. "But, when her plan failed, Lunarstar called a retreat. Neither of my warriors were injured, and her warrior went home without scratches, as well. Lunarstar left her mark on me." Leaping up atop to boulder, Hawkstar came face-to-face with the she-cat. "And I left my mark on her."
Turning back to face the Clans, the she-cat took them all in with her trademark glare. "You shouldn't need a warning to stay out of my territory. Lunarstar was lucky, and I'll kill any of you that cross the border."
The great cat stepped back into her place, hidden by shadows, and seated herself with her tail curled around her body. Beat that, Lunar.

Lunarstar listened with fake interest on her otherwise neutral face. She wasn't going to be bothered with Hawkstar's silly little game. The fight's over, so leave it alone. As the other leader finished her smug little speech, Lunastar stepped forward.
"Cats, I will not deny Hawkstar's story. But I also wanted to kill Hawkstripe for he left my Clan for a NightClan she-cat. But that isn't here nor there, I apologize, NightClan, for my very rude and childish reaction to the betrayel. Sometimes I fear for my own sanity, and some things seemed to make me lose control over it. I'm sorry to say, that was one of those instances. My Clan will not set a paw across the border and do not blame them. Ringtail, the warrior I brought, placed no marks on either warrior. Pathetically, he ran away from the battle when faced with my former warrior.
"Hawkstar, do you not think it's strange how StarClan never intervened in the fight? The sky staid cloudless the entire time. Maybe, just maybe, StarClan is in my favor.
"But I see that it was wrong, and I don't expect any cat to judge me better for this speech." Lunarstar meowed, stepping back and sitting. Never once looking Hawkstar in the eye. She was too tired to retort, or be sarcastic.
Hawkstripe stared intently at his leader as she spoke. He was honestly disappointed he'd never managed to harm any StreamClan cats. He shrugged inwardly, you win some, you lose some. And sometimes you get out with a draw.

Beechstar listened as Hawkstar and Lunarstar both spoke. Now I know what happened, she thought to herself. When they were both done, she stepped forward and meowed, "Thank you all for coming." She paused. "This concludes this Gathering. Everyone have a safe trip home and live safely until we meet again." With that, she jumped down from the rock and headed out of the Moon Cavern, waving with her tail at her warriors, telling them to follow. She walked through the forest, with her warriors close behind. When they reached camp, she meowed, "Go to sleep." Then, she went into her den, curled up in her moss bed, and fell asleep.
Cloudpool listened to the rest of the Gathering. When Beechstar closed it up and left, he got up and followed. When they reached their camp, he listened to his leader and went to sleep in the warriors den.
Ringtail's eyes narrowed for a slight second when Lunarstar said that he had run away while they had been fighting. Then they returned back to normal. He wouldn't let Lunarstar be aware of his anger. He whispered, "I'll explain when we get back to camp." When Beechstar closed the Gathering and left with her Clan, he waited for Lunarstar to leave.
Spottedfire listened to Hawkstar and Lunarstar, waiting for the Gathering to end so she and Nightstar could leave. She was appalled at what the two leaders had to say, and couldn't believe that Lunarstar had wanted to kill Whitefire because she supposedly carried Hawk and Tiger blood. When Beechstar closed the Gathering, the she-cat was surprised that the leader sounded so calm. She waited for Nightstar to say they could leave.
Whitefire listened as her leader told the truth about the battle between NightClan and StreamClan. She almost shouted something when Lunarstar said that Ringtail had ran away. It had been for good reason, not because he was scared of Hawkstripe. Her fur puffed up slightly, showing her anger. When Beechstar dismissed the Gathering, Whitefire waited for Hawkstar to tell them to leave.

Lunarstar dipped her head in Nightstar's direction; she didn't mind that leader, much. Then jumped down from the rock and began padding in the direction of StreamClan territory, calling out a quick "come!" for her Clan. She was royally furiated and would have liked nothing more than to be asleep. She padded swiftly through the dark forest, not bothering to wait for her cats, and slowed only when she reached Camp. With a few quick leaps she was in her nest, waiting.
Prairiestep sighed and ran after her sister, going slow enough for Ringtail to catch up. She hated how her sister always ran away when she was angry or hurt. She was a whimp.
Ravenwing followed Beechstar and fell asleep in his nest.

The dark leader snarled silently as Lunarstar sucked up to the crowd. NightClan does not accept your pitiful apology, Lunarstar. I'll accept it once you've proven yourself. OOC::What a hard ass... You don't slip away like that just because you stink like fish. You are cats, not fish.
"NightClan, we leave," Hawkstar announced, leaping gracefully from the Great Rock. Racing through the clearing, the she-cat dared not slow for herself or for her Clan. No, that would display that she was weakened. Bolting from the gathering cavern, the she-cat worked her way back towards camp with a set pace. Fury crackled from her pelt like static....

Ringtail followed Lunarstar out of the Moon Cavern, jogging back to camp next to Prariestep. When the reached camp he came into the den, sat down, and waited for her to come in so he could explain about the fight.
Lavapelt got up and hobbled after his leader. He was behind the three others of his Clan, but he didn't mind. He didn't like other cats walking with him because they had to slow down to match his pace since he could only go so fast. When he reached StreamClan's camp, he went right to his den, seeing that the other three were already in there dens. He then layed down in his moss and fell asleep.
Whitefire got up as Hawkstar left the Moon Cavern. She followed the leader, but padded slow enough that it wouldn't cause her pain. When they reached camp, she went into the warriors den and layed down in her patch of moss, waiting for Hawkstripe to join her.

Nightstar sighed and leaped down from the rock, she padded towards the exit from the moon cavern. She paused beside Spottedfire, "It's a good thing the others were to busy arguing with each other to notice us much, come on, let's leave." She continued out of the Mooncavern and towards Skyclan territory.

Spottedfire nodded. That was a good thing. She followed her leader through the forest back to their territory. She enjoyed the cool night breeze; it ruffled her fur, but she was too tired to care. When they got back to the camp, she meowed, "Good-night," to her leader, and then went to her den. She curled up in her nest and fell asleep.
