When Ringtail got to Prariestep, he sat down. Before she could ask what was wrong with Ravenwing, he said, "He wouldn't try swimming. I don't know if he's afraid or what but he wouldn't even try. But he did catch a fish. How did you and Cloudpool do?" He looked over at the SpiritClan tom and saw he was staring at Ravenwing.
Cloudpool was about to say something to Ravenwing when he walked by him, but he kept walking. He sat down a few fox-lengths away from the others. The Maine coon wondered what was wrong with him, when he heard Ringtail speak. He said that he must be afraid of water or something because he wouldn't try swimming. He understood, it was kinda scary, and it would be even worse if you were afraid of water. So he decided to leave the other tom alone to be by himself.

Ravenwing glanced over at the other cats when he heard his name, but glanced away quickly at the mention of his fear. With a heavy sigh, he lay his head on his paws. It wasn't like he asked to be scared. He didn't even know why he was. Ravenwing's green eyes darted over to Cloudpool when the other Tom moved, then he continued to stare at the water.
Prairiestep cocked her head at Ringtail as he explained. "Did you bother to ask what was wrong?" she asked him, but turned to Ravenwing with out waiting for an answer. "Are you scared?" she asked the black and white tomcat. When he nodded, Prairiestep turned her triumphant face in Ringtail's direction. "See?"

Ringtail rolled his eyes at his mate. "Well I didn't want to push him. If he didn't want to tell me, it was none of my business."
Turning to face Ravenwing, he sighed internally. The poor cat was afraid of water for basically no reason.
The Maine coon looked at his Clan mate sadly. It wouldn't be fun if only him and Beechstar swam; it would probably make him feel left out. He couldn't help that he was afraid though.
Cloudpool walked over to him and layed down next to Ravenwing, not saying anything. If the other tom wanted to talk, he would say something.

OOC: BEECHY! I changed Ravenwing's past, tell me if I can't use it!
Ravenwing narrowed his eyes at Ringtail, but said nothing. He was good at reading body language, he'd have to be to know when a tom would lash at him. He knew Ringtail was irritated, he was too. With an audible sigh, Ravenwing wrapped his tail around his black body, hugging himself. He flicked an ear to acknowledge his Clan mate's presence as Cloudpool came and laid beside him.
He closed his eyes...and opened them immediately. Darkness. Shadows. Night. All of those gave way to his past. The black was a portal for his demons to enter. And they always did. Each shadow held the anatomy of a tom. Each time he went out at night, their glowing eyes followed him. Once his eyes closed, their faces sneered at him. He shuddered.
Ravenwing immediately stood, his green eyes blank and distant as another tremor took hold of him. He needed to do something, anything, to get his mind off them. With a wild look in his eyes, he took off, running. Running had saved him more than once. It always would. Running took his mind off the cats, he could focus on other thoughts, sometimes even face the dark. But only when running.
The black tom had no idea where he was going, he was just running, just to get away. In a blur, trees, water, shrubs, and bushes flew past him. But that was the only indication that he wasn't in any other Clan. Yet. Ravenwing had only the need to run, not to pay attention. Paying attention brought them back. So he emptied his mind, the thoughts flying from his body with each step.
Prariestep stood as Ravenwing did, then watched numbly as he ran off. For a few heartbeats she stood, paralyzed, not sure what to do. Then she ran after him. "Hey! Stop!" she called as she ran after him, but the young cat was much faster than her. With a sigh, she stopped, knowing she'd never catch him.

Ringtail sat and didn't say anything as Ravenwing ran off. He also didn't follow when Prariestep took off. He figured that he would be left alone; that Cloudpool would also follow his Clan mate.
The Maine coon stood up as his Clan mate ran off, but didn't follow him, as Ringtail and Prariestep probably thought he would. He stood there as Prariestep ran after him, and saw that Ringtail also wasn't chasing after him. He sat down, but didn't say anything, waiting for Prariestep and Ravenwing to return.
