The she-cat jumped up.
"Great! Let's go." Letting the kitten follow her, the Scottish fold led the way back to her shared den. It wasn't too far away, but it took them a little while because Hibiscus was limping slightly.
When they were almost to the den, she ran ahead of the kitten and shouted, "Adder!"
OOC: No muse...

Soul followed Hibiscus slowly, she glanced upwards at the quickly rising sun and sped up until she was trotting at the other cats heels. She stopped suddenly when Hibiscus ran ahead, calling out the name of her mate, doubt overwhelmed her and she remained rooted to the spot a little way away. Maybe coming was a bad idea, maybe she should of just ran when she had the chance..... but Hibiscus was nice, and it was only her paranoia that made her so terrified of others, that and a traumatic past.
>I'm sorry I am low on muse and I'm sorry it took so long, I have exams coming up, and I might not be able to get on much.<

Adder yawned, grumbling a little as he heard the persistent voice of his mate. He'd been so close to sleep, in that weird half-asleep phase, when his name was called through the forest. He stumbled to his paws, giving hsi chest fur a few swift licks before walking out of his den. He saw his mate and a little ways behind her, a kitten. His green eyes widened a little at the kit.
"Yes, Hibiscus?" he meowed, pressing his nose to hers when she reached him.

Hibiscus smiled when her mate came out of the den. She stepped slightly out of the way and said, "This is Soul. She's a ghost, like me." She waved her tail at Soul as she said her name.. She then turned to the kitten and said, "Soul, this is my mate, Adder."
OOC: sorry so short

Soul stepped forward slowly, part of her was desperately wishing she hadn't come, the other part was wishing her mass of wounds weren't so visible. "Hi" She mewed softly, only one word, so as she didn't cough and choke like she always did when she tried to say more then one or two words in a row.

Adder looked down at the kit and smiled a little, mentally hissing at his mate. He wasn't a big fan of kits. "Hello," he mewed softly to her, forcing a friendly grin on his face. He also didn't care too much for ghosts.
OOC: Sorry, short. It's not my fault you dragged me in here.

The friendly smile on the cats face was probably meant to be reassuring, but she saw the flicker of annoyance in his eyes. As a result her ears flattened against her head and she let out a soft hiss, backing away slightly. As she had learned many times, annoyance was only a small step before anger and she preferred to avoid anyone that looked even the slightest bit irritated.
>Sorry it's so short, I don't have much time between exams, study and exams.<

Hibiscus sighed inwardly. She should have never brought Soul to meet Adder. She wasn't good at telling if cats would like each other until the meeting actually happened.
Stepping in between them, she said to Soul, "Fine, we'll leave. Adder, I'll be back."
She turned her back to her mate, ignoring the fact that he might be mad at her, and asked Soul, "Where do you want to go?" Then she thought, maybe this cat doesn't want anything to do with me. "Or do you just want to leave? I don't mind if you do." Her eyes drifted to the ground as she finished speaking, not wanting the kitten to see her eyes so it affected her decision.

As Hibiscus stepped between them Soul felt instantly bad, she liked this cat, and didn't want to insult her, or upset her. "I should (hack) just (cough) leave." She paused and breathed in deeply a couple of times. "The sun (wheeze) is (gasp) rising and I (choke) don't want (hack) to be caught (gasp) with it (cough) up." She put her head down as she wrestled for control over her breathing then she lifted it again. "Sorry"
>ONLY ONE MORE EXAM!<

The Scottish Fold nodded.
"I understand. Well, I'll see you around. Bye." And without another thought, she turned and went into the den, walking around her mate, but ignoring his gaze.
OOC: Sorry so short

Soul watched Hibiscus leave with grave eyes, she looked once at Adder and felt her fur rising slightly. She really didn't enjoy being around males. Keeping her eyes on him she backed away then taking what she had learnt from Shrill, leapt high into the air, progressing in bounds until she was high above. Walking on the solid yet not solid air she padded in the direction of the lake again. The bottom of the lake would be a good place to wait out the day.
>Soz, nothing against Adder, Soul has just had bad experiences.<
