"Don't worry, Bleak... You'll be fine... Scratch and I will protect you. Now that we have seen him, maybe we can fight him..." Ash said uncertainly. Ash didn't know if they could fight the cat... He wasn't a ghost. But he seemed transparent when he visited Bleak. The black tourtouiseshell she-cat glanced at the blood-soaked cobwebs. She gently pulled them away and was relieved to see that the blood had stopped.

Scratch watched as Ash looked at Bleak's wound. It wasn't bleeding anymore. "Should we move him into our cave? He can sleep there and I'll keep watch." He waited for Ash to give him an answer. He looked up at the sky, seeing bright sun. It felt warm on his pelt.

Bleak winced as Ash pulled away the cobwebs, but was sure not to snap at her again. Looking up at Scratch when he suggested going back to the cave, the little cat felt his breath catch. What if I try to kill him again? he thought. Realizing he was too tired to really care much about the matter, Bleak gave a weary nod. "Just take me to the cave and promise me you won't fall asleep... I don't know what will happen..."
OOC:: Sorry, short... I'm in a hurry and my muse well is running dry...

"Ok. I won't fall asleep. Ash, can you stay with us? Eventually I'll get tired and I can't make Bleak watch. So will you?" Scratch hoped the she-cat, Bleaks mother, would stay with them. She was a strong she-cat, even thought you wouldn't know so at first glance.

"Sure. Like I have anywhere else to go." Ash meowed, sarcastic tone and gaze back. "Come on." Ash mewed, standing up. She sighed, hopefully Bleak wouldn't get himself hurt. If needed, Ash and Scratch together could probably injure him... She just hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Scratch went over to Bleak, smiling at what Ash had said. She doesn't seem affected by this, he thought to himself. He got ready to lift Bleak up, then turned to Ash. "Are you ready?"

Ash nodded and bent down, gently grabbing Bleak's scruff.She lifted slowly, waiting for Scratch.

Scratch lifted up Bleak with Ash. Trying to move so they wouldn't hurt Bleak worse, he walked slowly towards their cave. When they reached the cave he moved to Bleaks pile of moss and slowly set him down. He sat down next to his mate, feeling satisfied.

"Okay, I'm gonna sleep. Wake me if there's trouble or you get tired. Night." Ash mewed, laying down by Bleak, her eyes closing immediately. She yawned, blinking in and out of consciousness. Finally she fell asleep, her body trained and ready to wake at the slightest bit of a threatening movement from Bleak.

Scratch nodded and went to sit by the entrance by the front of the cave. He sat down and looked around outside. He didn't sense anything around, but there could be something coming. He stayed by the entrance, but hid in the shadows. You never know what could be around the corner, he thought to himself.

OOC:: Mind if Bleak goes nuts? He won't do too much damage...
Bleak allowed himself to be carried to the cave and settled down. He only gave a few light grunts if he was moved improperly. Watching as Ash drifted to sleep and Scratch sat watch, something inside of Bleak twitched. Come along, son. The voice was back! Bleak threw back his head and yowled, pain searing through his whole body. Standing, he darted out of the other cats' reaches. His fur had puffed out and his back was arched. The little tom had no more control. Looking over at Scratch, the tom sped forward, leaping at the black cat. Hitting his target, Bleak quickly found Scratch's shoulder and sank in his teeth, hard.

Ash awoke as she heard a yowl. Worried when she didn't feel Bleak beside her, she stood up and stared around in worry. Finally she saw Bleak attacking Scratch by the entrance. "Bleak! Get off of him!" She called, hoping she wouldn't have to attack him, but then she remembered his father. "Great." She muttered running at Bleak. Grabbing her son's scruff, she ripped him off Scratch. The loner gave a silent thanks to StarClan that she was a little bit bigger, that was a huge advantage right now. Not wanting to hurt him, she pinned Bleak down, baring her fangs at him.

Scratch watched the area and suddenly felt a jolt of pain. He yowled, and then hissed. He turned to see that Bleak had bit him. He sent a help look towards Ash, not wanting to have to hurt Bleak. He was relieved when Ash took Bleak off of him. "What is wrong with you Bleak?" He then remembered his father was basically in him. He gasped, feeling scared that Bleaks dad could control Bleaks actions.

"Bleak, or your father...I'm still kinda confused, I'm not getting off you until I can trust you." Ash hissed, not positive on who she was talking to. "We will both fight if we have to. None of us want to hurt Bleak, but Scratch and I together can. And if need be, we will." Ash warned, hoping Bleak's father was listening.

OOC:: I'm going to underline what Bleak's papa is saying.
Bleak howled defiance as he was torn from his prey. Getting pinned not-so-nicely, the tom hissed in rage. "NO!!!!" he screamed, unbelieving loud. His meow was deep, his father now speaking through him. "FOOLS! I am invincible! You cannot kill me; I will forever live on if you attempt to slaughter me! You shall only kill my son!" Bleak's body began to thrash wildly. His body gave rapid convulsions as his father's strength came into his muscles. Bleak's small meow managed to break through. "Father, it burns! Make it stop, please!!" Tears splashed out of his yellow eyes as his sobs choked at him. The pain was unbearable! There was too much strength that was forcing its way in. "Never! I will finish the job you could not!" His meow was deep again. Throwing his head forward, his nailed his skull into Ash's. Slipping away from her, the small cat pelted after Scratch again, snapping at his paws and chest. His aim was at the throat.
